National Indigenous Peoples Day

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day. A day to acknowledge, learn and appreciate the rich history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. We are grateful to live and work on the traditional lands of Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak, and Attawandaron. We also recognize the enduring presence of all First Nations, Metis, and the Inuit peoples.

Are you looking to learn more about the rich culture of the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples?

The Government of Canada created a webpage that includes a variety of resources to help everyone explore the history, languages, cultures, and experiences of Indigenous Peoples across Canada. We encourage you to check it out!
