National Housing Week was an incredible success—and it’s all thanks to the dedication, energy, and heart that LMCH staff poured into every moment.
Staff across both the County and the City actively participated in hosting engaging community events, fostering meaningful conversations, building connections, and emphasizing the significance of housing for the people we serve. From preparing materials and coordinating logistics to decorating spaces, managing activities, and engaging tenants individually, every team contributed to making this week successful. By week's end, more than 220 tenants had taken part in events throughout our communities.
We kicked off with an inspiring tour of Joan’s Place, followed by a mid-week visit to the London Food Bank, and closed with an impactful tour of Embassy Commons, where staff saw firsthand how collaboration creates real, supportive homes.
National Housing Week wasn’t just a week of events; it was a week of connection. Having staff immersed in the community, listening, laughing, learning, and leading, reminds us of the impact we make every day. Thank you to everyone who made this week meaningful, memorable, and full of heart.
